In a bizarre partnership that breaks conventional forecasts, the game developer has unveiled an virtual collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual Thanksgiving event continues from November 25 through December 22, including no-cost bonus story content for Shadows players.

Strange Adventure Uncovered

According to the authorized statement, "A strange encounter draws protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a new mission, where hints of prohibited rituals and fearsome transformations reverberate through the shadows." The storyline features a "unusually dressed woman named Ada" who tasks the characters with journeying into the Gemstone Grotto—a key location from Attack on Titan—to save her companion from a secret group.

The questline concentrates on "strange trials and a terrifying enemy" and is open to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.

Recognizable Settings and Metamorphoses

The teaser highlights the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was previously where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through ages. The preview finishes with a dramatic sequence showing a character, presumably the hostage, morphing into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.

Special Prizes and Additional Content

Players who finish the quest will receive an unique katana in addition to multiple artifacts concealed throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also contains purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, including:

• Mikasa costume for Naoe

Third Free Story Addition

This release also brings the game's third free story episode, titled "The Enigma."
